This is a wildlife friendly industrial grade vandal proof marine grade solar bollard light with superb dusk to dawn lighting. It is specifically designed to minimise the ecological impact that traditional lighting has on wildlife such as sea turtles, mammals, bats, frogs, and many insects, especially near the ocean. For example, nesting turtles navigate by moonlight reflecting off the ocean and artificial light near turtle habitats is often mistaken for moonlight, disorientating nesting turtles. Effective wildlife friendly lighting must be shielded, kept low to the ground, be low-wattage and emit a light wavelength of 560 nanometres or higher which to the human eye appears amber and is invisible to most wildlife.

It is a premium product that consists of a moulded impact-proof aluminium housing, tamper proof security fixings, IK10 certification for vandal resistance, and has IP66 rating which means it is totally protected against any dust ingress and high water pressure from any direction (eg torrential rain). This product can withstand almost anything man or nature can throw at it, including cyclones and deliberate acts of vandalism or theft.
It has an invisible 360° radar motion sensor which increases the light output when it detects motion, and dims it afterwards - and at the same time retaining optimal long battery charge (it can provide up to 5 nights of lighting even in cloudy days).
This solar bollard light comes complete - including solar light, solar panel, rechargeable batteries, all installation accessories etc. You do not need to purchase anything else. This is a 4th generation solar product, and there is nothing like this on the market. It can even withstand being smashed by a baseball bat!
