Pendant Lights Tips

• It is important to ensure that pendant lights are hung with the correct height:
• Kitchens: 1m above benches.
• Dining rooms: 80cm above tables.
• Living rooms: 2.5m above the floor. If there is a table there, then 80cm above the table.
• Bedrooms: 2.2m above the floors. If you are installing pendants above bedside tables, then they should be 1m above these.
• Hallways: 2.5m above floors.
• Bathrooms: 2.5m above floors.
• Stairs: at least 2.2 metres above the edges of stairs (to ensure people don't duck their heads).
• If you are using the pendant lights for tasks such as reading or cooking, ensure the globes are bright and have a good beam angle.
• We strongly recommend dimmers for areas such as dining rooms, living rooms and bedrooms, Dimmers make a world of difference for creating mood. 
• For rooms in which you will be relaxing, use warm white globes (3000K).
• Three identical pendant lights in a row above tables and bench tops creates a dramatic interior design impact.
• Keep in mind that all lights will create bright spots of light surrounded by shadow, so think about using diffusers and frosted globes.
